In the first quarter of 2024, the European music and podcasts application scene witnessed varying trends across key players on the unified platform. Sensor Tower's data offers an insightful peek into the performance of these apps.

Deezer: Music Player, Podcast experienced a steady revenue trend, starting the quarter with approximately $1.7M and peaking at nearly $1.86M in late February. Downloads hovered around the 60K to 70K mark each week, while weekly active users showed a slight downward trend from 8.2M to 8M.

Spotify - Music and Podcasts maintained a solid revenue stream, initiating January with over $1M and reaching a high of $1.26M by the end of March. Downloads showed a slight decline from 751K in the first week of January to around 654K by the quarter's end, but weekly active users saw a slight increase from 107M to 109M.

YouTube Music showed a varied revenue pattern, starting at $824K and spiking to $965K in the last week of February. Downloads remained fairly consistent, averaging around 240K per week. Weekly active users depicted growth, increasing from 54M to almost 59M by the end of March.

Amazon Music: Songs & Podcasts saw its revenue fluctuate, beginning at $574K and reaching a high of $687K in late February. The app's downloads began at 195K, with a noticeable dip to 110K in early March, but slightly recovered to 133K by quarter's end. The trend for weekly active users was relatively stable, starting at 3.6M and maintaining around 3.4M throughout the quarter.

SoundCloud: Discover New Music had its revenue ranging from approximately $429K to $538K. Downloads saw a peak of 211K in late February, generally maintaining around 176K to 195K. Weekly active users showcased stability, with a slight rise from 18.3M to 19.5M over the quarter.
